Project Overview

On the 6 August 2012 Gascoyne acquired an 80% interest in the advanced Dalgaranga gold project and surrounding exploration tenements from private tenement holders. The Dalgaranga project is located approximately 70km by road NW of Mt Magnet in the Murchison gold mining region of Western Australia and covers the majority of the Dalgaranga greenstone belt.

Scope
of Work

  • Provide competent mine and engineering surveyor to oversee the 250-man camp design and construction
  • All initial camp control establishment to be used for the duration of the construction
  • All clearing permit drafting and set out for the client
  • Building layout proposals
  • Service layout proposals
  • Design assistance for footpaths and services
  • Set out of all services
  • As Built survey of all services
  • Drafting for handover

Culhig Surveying assisted us with all aspects of our scope of works at Dalgaranga. We engaged them to focus on the services however they brought far more value to the design and build contract than we had anticipated, I’d highly recommend them for similar works in the future
